Orbule is a travel-social app that lets people share trips, photos and videos, chat, and find travel companions. This policy explains what we collect, why, how it is shared, and the choices you have. By using Orbule you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account details — your name, email address, and date of birth (used to verify you meet our minimum age). Your password is stored only in encrypted (hashed) form.
Profile information — anything you choose to add, such as a bio, photo, and interests.
Content you create — photos, videos, captions, trips, comments, and messages you send to other users.
Location — precise location is collected only when you choose to tag a post or video with your current location. It is not collected in the background.
Device & usage data — a push-notification token (so we can send you notifications) and basic technical data needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use your information
To provide the app: show your feed, deliver messages and notifications, and match travel partners.
To keep the service safe: prevent abuse, spam, and violations of our terms.
To improve features and fix problems.
How your information is shared
We do not sell your personal data. Content you post is visible to other users according to your settings. We use a small number of service providers strictly to run the app:
Media hosting / CDN — photos and videos you upload are stored and served through our cloud storage and content-delivery provider.
AI assistant — when you use the in-app AI travel assistant or AI place search, the text of your request is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Your account details and private content are not shared for this purpose.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs.
Your rights and choices
You can edit your profile, control what you share, and block or report other users at any time. You can permanently delete your account and all associated personal data from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. See our Account & Data Deletion page for details.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems. Some limited records may be retained where required by law or to prevent fraud and abuse.
Children
Orbule is not intended for children under 13. We verify age at sign-up and remove accounts found to belong to under-13 users.
